About Me

Welcome to my page!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Cathy. My fitness journey started in 2017 after I graduated college. I was doing an internship in Wisconsin when one of my best friends dragged me to the gym and showed me some stuff. I started going regularly just to pass the time during the summer, but as soon as I started seeing results, it became addicting. It became my lifestyle.

I then decided to challenge myself and started doing martial arts in 2019. I learned more about discipline and I started pushing my body in ways I didn’t know I could. However, all of this changed in December 2020 when I tore my ACL and meniscus while sparring. I had surgery in January 2021 and the recovery was really rough on me. Over the course of a year and a half after my surgery, I gained over 25 pounds. This was mostly due to stress eating, knee pain, and no exercise.

By mid 2022, I started asking myself, how did I get here? I decided to pick things back up again. It was hard to stay consistent with the gym initially. It took me a couple of tries to really get back at it. After figuring out my nutrition and staying consistent, I recently lost 15 pounds in the past few months. This is also the strongest I have ever been. My journey still continues to this day.

Like many people, I struggled for a couple of years trying to figure out what to do. I became curious about what people did to stay fit and healthy.

Join me in becoming curious about health! I will give you tips on how I was able to lose weight and become stronger. Looking forward to doing this journey together!
